COMEX Copper
August-delivery COMEX Copper gained 13.45 cents/lb, or 2.09%, this week to settle at $6.5705/lb, marking its strongest weekly gain since mid-June. Copper has now advanced for three consecutive weeks and in four of the past five weeks.
Despite a 1.74% decline today, copper remains 49.02% above its 52-week low of $4.409 recorded in August 2025. The metal is up 16.71% year-to-date (YTD) and remains close to its 2026 high.
COMEX Silver
August-delivery COMEX Silver surged $5.741/oz, or 9.97%, this week to settle at $63.332/oz, its strongest weekly gain since the week ended February 27, 2026.
Silver gained 3.08% today and has risen in six of the past eight sessions, reaching its highest settlement level since June 22, 2026.
Despite the recent recovery, silver remains 44.97% below its 52-week high of $115.08 recorded in January 2026. It is nearly 70% above its August 2025 low of $37.261, while its YTD performance remains down 9.70%.
COMEX Gold
August-delivery COMEX Gold climbed $291.60, or 7.20%, this week to settle at $4,340.70/oz, marking its strongest weekly gain since the week ended January 23, 2026.
Gold gained another $98.70, or 2.33%, today, reaching its highest settlement level since mid-June.
Gold remains 18.38% below its record high of $5,318.40 recorded in January 2026. However, prices are more than 31% above the August 2025 low of $3,313.40. Gold is up 26.22% year-on-year and 0.35% YTD.
NYMEX Crude Oil
September front-month NYMEX Crude Oil fell $6.49, or 7.67%, this week to settle at $78.18/bbl. Crude has declined for two consecutive weeks, losing $11.13, or 12.46%, during the period.
Today, crude gained 89 cents, or 1.15%.
The current price is 30.78% below the 52-week high of $112.95 recorded in April, but remains 41.45% above the December 2025 low of $55.27. Crude is up 36.15% YTD.
NYMEX Natural Gas
September-delivery NYMEX Natural Gas declined 8.50 cents, or 3.09%, this week to settle at $2.6620/MMBtu.
Natural gas has now fallen for seven consecutive weeks, declining a total of 57.10 cents, or 17.66%, over the period—the weakest seven-week performance since early 2023.
Despite a modest 0.83% gain today, natural gas remains 64.32% below its January 2026 52-week high of $7.46, while staying 5.51% above its April low of $2.523.
