🔹 US equity markets closed higher, with major indices gaining between 0.74% and 1.29%.

🔹 GIFT Nifty is down by 70 points, indicating that Nifty futures are likely to open around the 24,100 level.
🔹 US President Donald Trump announced that generic drugs imported into the United States will face zero tariffs for two years starting August 1, 2026. A 100% tariff will be imposed from August 2028, which will increase to 200% a year later. The phased policy is aimed at encouraging pharmaceutical companies to establish manufacturing facilities in the US.
🔹 US stocks ended higher on Tuesday, led by technology shares, as investors looked beyond the latest developments in the US-Iran conflict and shifted their focus to the ongoing corporate earnings season.
🔹 Asia-Pacific markets are trading mixed. South Korea’s Kospi surged more than 5%, while the Kosdaq gained around 2%. Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 0.34%, while the Topix remained largely unchanged.
🔹 Crude oil prices edged higher in early Wednesday trading as concerns over potential supply disruptions increased following recent US military actions. Brent crude is trading around $91.86 per barrel.
