🔹 US equity markets closed with slight gains.
🔹 European markets ended on a flat note.
🔹 Most Asian markets are trading lower today.
🔹 Sensex and Nifty are trading higher by around 100–10 points.
🔹 On Thursday, US markets witnessed gains driven by expectations of an extension of the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran, along with signs of improvement in the labor market.
🔹 However, Asian markets are showing कमजोरी on Friday as investors remain cautious over Middle East tensions and ongoing ceasefire negotiations, even as Wall Street touched record highs.
🔹 Brent crude, after rising nearly 5%, has eased to around $98 per barrel, while WTI is trading near $93, amid hopes of a ceasefire extension.
🔹 US President Donald Trump stated that any pause in military action with Iran would be conditional. If diplomatic talks fail, tensions could escalate again.
🔹 The ongoing 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon may be extended, provided progress is made in peace talks and Lebanon demonstrates its ability to maintain sovereignty.
