🔹 *Copper –*

LME copper opened at $9,989/mt overnight, touched a low of $9,970/mt early in the session, then trended upward to a high of $10,065/mt, and finally closed at $10,057/mt, up 0.45%. Trading volume was 19,000 lots, and open interest stood at 289,000 lots.

The most-traded SHFE copper 2510 contract opened at 80,160 yuan/mt, dropped to 80,080 yuan/mt at the start, then rebounded to a high of 80,540 yuan/mt before closing at 80,490 yuan/mt, up 0.51%. Trading volume reached 27,000 lots, with open interest at 177,000 lots.

🔹 *Aluminum –*

The most-traded SHFE aluminum 2510 contract opened at 20,975 yuan/mt, hit a high of 21,025 yuan/mt, a low of 20,930 yuan/mt, and closed at 21,005 yuan/mt, up 0.43%.

On the LME, aluminum opened at $2,622/mt, touched a high of $2,679.5/mt, a low of $2,621.5/mt, and closed at $2,679/mt, up 2.17%.

🔹 *Lead –*

LME lead opened at $1,986.5/mt, fluctuated between $1,985–1,990/mt, then dipped to $1,980/mt during the European session. Supported by falling inventories and a weaker dollar, it rebounded to test $2,000/mt but closed slightly lower at $1,995.5/mt, up 0.35%.

The most-traded SHFE lead 2510 contract opened at 16,860 yuan/mt, dipped early under inventory pressure, then recovered to close at 16,900 yuan/mt, up 0.24%. Open interest was 49,603 lots, flat from the prior session.

🔹 *Zinc –*

LME zinc opened at $2,887.5/mt, dipped to $2,876.5/mt, then rebounded to a high of $2,905.5/mt, and closed at $2,905/mt, up 0.61%. Trading volume rose to 116,000 lots, with open interest up 2,333 lots to 204,000 lots.

The most-traded SHFE zinc 2510 contract opened at 22,250 yuan/mt, dipped to 22,180 yuan/mt, then rebounded to 22,295 yuan/mt before closing at 22,280 yuan/mt, up 0.13%. Trading volume fell to 41,779 lots, while open interest declined by 476 lots to 99,966 lots.

The most-traded SHFE tin 2510 contract dipped slightly early in the session, then moved higher to close at 272,100 yuan/mt, up 0.27%.
